Fireside Capital Advisors was founded in 2015 by Steve Penner as a boutique investment advisory firm. Steve started as an institutional consultant working with several multi-billion dollar pension plans, as well as very large endowments and foundations. He was one of the original founders of LCG Associates and helped grow that firm into one of the leading institutional consulting firms in the United States today.
Tim Dwight, CFA, also has had many years of experience as a Registered Investment Advisor. He began his investing career as a market analyst and portfolio manager after earning his MBA at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. Tim has experience in all aspects of the investment business; from deep and detailed research on individual stocks as well as investment managers. His broad experience also includes serving on investment committees and developing investment strategies.
In January of 2019, Steve and Tim decided to combine their talent and experience together, merging Fireside Capital and SpringVest Wealth Management. They recognized the need for professional conflict-free, independent investment advice for institutional clients with up to $100 million in size. Steve and Tim also believe that individuals, and especially multi-generational families, could benefit from the same objective advice.
